We went to the
circus
We went to the circus
I’ll never forget it
A lion jumped over the fence
The crowd fled in panic
The owner was manic
The feeling of fear was intense
The lion was hungry
He wanted his dinner
So went to the
hamburger stall
The seller was cooking
And not really looking
He said ‘can I help you at all?’
The lion ignored him
And opened his mouth wide
The seller then saw the big cat
The beast by now chewing
The meat he was doing
Thought ‘shall I have onions with that?’
The seller then
fainted
The lion felt better
The owner was in a foul rage
The crowd started cheering
The acrobats steering
The animal back in his cage
The circus continued
But now it was boring
The clowns and the chimps weren’t to blame
A lion that’s eating
Fresh meat takes some beating
The rest of the show
was too tame
